Q: Is this a sunscreen, sunblock or SPF product? A: No. This is a cosmetic mineral balm, not a tested or FDA-registered sunscreen, and it does not carry an SPF rating. It is not a substitute for sun protection.

Q: What does the zinc oxide do in this formula? A: Non-nano zinc oxide is a naturally occurring mineral that gives the balm its smooth, breathable, mattifying texture, so it feels comfortable on sun-exposed, wind-exposed skin during outdoor activity.
